Refund and Returns Policy

At VSN EVENTS LTD, we take great pride in our handcrafted florals and bespoke event decor. Because our products include personalized and perishable items, our policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and fully compliant with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1. Non-Perishable Items (14-Day Return Window)

For non-perishable and non-personalized items (such as artificial flowers, vases, unopened giftware, or DIY kits):

  • Notification: You have 14 days from the date of delivery to notify us of your intent to return.
  • Return Window: Once notified, you have a further 14 days to return the item to our Bradford boutique.
  • Condition: Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resalable condition.
  • Restocking Fees: We charge £0.00 restocking fees for all eligible returns.

2. Exemptions (Items Not Eligible for Return)

Under UK law, certain items are exempt from the standard “right to cancel” or return due to their nature:

  • Perishable Goods: Fresh flowers and baked goods (Cakes/Cupcakes collected in-store) cannot be returned as they have a limited natural lifespan.
  • Personalized/Bespoke Items: Any product customized with a specific name, message, color theme, or bespoke balloon arrangements created to your specifications.
  • Hygiene-Sensitive Items: Any items that have been unsealed after delivery.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

We take immense care in our packaging and preparation. If an item arrives damaged:

  • Reporting: Please report the damage within 24 hours of receipt or collection.
  • Evidence: Email a photo of the damaged item and the original packaging to support@vsnevents.co.uk.
  • Resolution: We will provide a replacement or a full refund for any items confirmed as defective upon arrival.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of Mind: For eligible returns (non-personalized/non-perishable), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Our Error: If we sent the wrong item or the item is defective, VSN EVENTS LTD will cover all return shipping or collection costs.

5. Refunds

  • Processing: Once we receive your return or verify damage, we will process your refund within 7 business days.
  • Payment Method: Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Stripe or PayPal) used at checkout.
